How Alterscope works
Alterscope works in three steps: you connect your data sources, define the rules that matter, and receive alerts when those rules are triggered.Connect a source
Add a source — a database table, an API endpoint, a webhook feed, or a file — and tell Alterscope what to watch.
Configure alert rules
Define conditions that trigger alerts: value thresholds, presence/absence of fields, rate-of-change, or custom expressions.
Key capabilities
- Multi-source monitoring — Watch changes across databases, APIs, and event streams from a single platform.
- Flexible alert rules — Write simple threshold rules or complex conditional expressions.
- Team collaboration — Invite team members, assign ownership, and audit changes together.
- Webhook & integration support — Push alerts to Slack, PagerDuty, or any HTTP endpoint.
- REST API — Automate everything: source management, alert configuration, and event retrieval.
