Alterscope is a change-monitoring platform that gives your team visibility into what’s changing across your systems and data sources. Whether you’re tracking database records, external APIs, file changes, or application events, Alterscope surfaces the changes that matter and routes them to the right people at the right time.

How Alterscope works

Alterscope works in three steps: you connect your data sources, define the rules that matter, and receive alerts when those rules are triggered.
1

Connect a source

Add a source — a database table, an API endpoint, a webhook feed, or a file — and tell Alterscope what to watch.
2

Configure alert rules

Define conditions that trigger alerts: value thresholds, presence/absence of fields, rate-of-change, or custom expressions.
3

Receive and act

Get notified via email, Slack, webhook, or the Alterscope API. Integrate alerts into your own workflows.

Key capabilities

  • Multi-source monitoring — Watch changes across databases, APIs, and event streams from a single platform.
  • Flexible alert rules — Write simple threshold rules or complex conditional expressions.
  • Team collaboration — Invite team members, assign ownership, and audit changes together.
  • Webhook & integration support — Push alerts to Slack, PagerDuty, or any HTTP endpoint.
  • REST API — Automate everything: source management, alert configuration, and event retrieval.
